MINISTRY OF TRADE, TOURISM AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications is in charge of the state administra on related to the: telecommunications, electronic communications and postal services; order and security in the field of electronic communications and postal services; inspection; determining the strategy and policy of development of lectronic communications and postal services; organizing financial and technical control etc. Tourism sector is a part of this Ministry, in charge of tourism development, tourism laws and regulations.
PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF VOJVODINA
Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina is an executive authority of the Province. It accounts for its work to the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and its activities are defined within the framework of competences under the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and Statute of the AP Vojvodina, the supreme legal act of the Province. The Provincial Assembly Decision on the Government of AP Vojvodina regulates the composition, term of office, competences and other issues relevant to the work of the Provincial Government. In its work The Provincial Government provides the official use of the Serbian language, the Cyrillic and Latin script, Hungarian, Slovak, Croatian, Romanian and Ruthenian languages and their scripts in accordance with the law, the Statute, the Provincial Assembly Decision and the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Government.
Deutsche Gesellscha für Interna onale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is implementing a tourism development project on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project is working on strengthening the cross-border coopera on in the field of tourism by linking Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Moldova and Ukraine, under the umbrella of the EU Strategy for Danube Region. The Central and innovative element of the approach is seting up and implementing the Danube Competence Center (DCC) as a cross-border organization and platform for the development and promotion of international tourism. An overall goal is the creation of a “Danube tourism brand”, strengthen tourism offer and build new jobs in the tourism sector.
CENTRAL EUROPEAN INITIATIVE (CEI)
Founded in 1989, the CEI is a regional intergovernmental forum commitied to supporting European integration through coopera on among its Member States. It combines multilateral diplomacy and project management, both as donor and recipient, while bridging European macro-regions. The CEI strategic objectives are to support CEI Member States on their path towards European integration, to promote the alignment of CEI Member States to EU standards as well as to implement small and medium-sized projects.
CITY OF SUBOTICA
The city of Subotica is located at the northern part of the Republic of Serbia, along the border to Hungary, along the main European corridors and between two rivers: the Danube and the Tisa. The city of Subotica is the second most populous city in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. At present, the city and its surrounding municipalities have about 150.000 inhabitants. Subotica offers a lot of interesting places for rest and leisure, for activities around the lakes, on horse-farms, farmsteads, in forests and hunting areas.
NATIONAL TOURISM ORGANISATION OF SERBIA
Was founded in 1994 as government agency for promo on and enhancement of tourism products in the national and international tourism markets with the objective its values and potentials. Main activity of National Tourism Organisation of Serbia is positioning in the international market through its strategic position, historical, cultural and natural identity. In that light NTOS exhibits in most international tourism exhibitions worldwide. This provides opportunities for bigger industry exposure and chance of atracting different target audience. Above all- NTOS works very closely with all industry stakeholders in Serbia in public and private sector with the mission of shaping even better tourism offer that creates opportunities for better economic and social development of the Republic of Serbia.
NATIONAL TOURISM ORGANISATION OF MONTENEGRO
The National Tourism Organisation of Montenegro have the mission to enable both our citizens and guests to feel the spirit of Montenegro and to get acquainted with its beauties. We plan and carry out the tourism informational and promotional activities of Montenegro both in the country and abroad, create the annual program for informational and promotional activities of the state; follow and analyse trends on the domestic and international tourism markets and carry out tracking studies; create the conditions and provide the means for affirmation of tourism values and potentials by way of publications, exhibits at tourism shows, presentations etc.; create and develop a tourism informa on system in Montenegro and enable it to be connected with other informa on systems in the country and abroad; co-ordinate and unite the informational and promotional activities of all tourism subjects and co-operate with tourism organisations in the country and abroad.
