Rock Klančnik

Rock Klančnik (1966) considers itself as tourist fanatics, researcher, journalist, who is fall in love with the world, further countries, planes and people.

Klančnik works in Brussels as a representative of the Slovenian tourism for the Benelux and the European Union. Between 2002 and 2007 was director of communications at the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in Madrid and before that director of communications at the Slovenian Tourist Organisation of Ljubljana and journalist. His strengths are strategic communications, crisis management in tourism, and holding lectures about marketing, branding, new products, trends and megatrends in tourism and the like.

Hi is an author of several hundred professional articles and books about tourism and the book “Crisis management in tourism” (on Slovenian, Serbian and English version will be finished soon). Speaks ten languages, and in private “non-touristic” life, likes Argentine tango the most (since 1992).
